The premium package provides the most complete parasite protection. Nexgard provides protection against ticks, fleas, mites, heart worm and most intestinal worms. It does not directly cover for tapeworm, instead offers some protection by preventing fleas (a tapeworm vector). By giving Nexgard with a tape-wormer your pet will receive protection against all the common intestinal parasites. This is important not only for your pet, but also for the family, especially if you live on property or feed your pets offal, as some tapeworms present serious health risk to humans.
